Indie studio Wonderful Things launches campaign to promote Rizla and Laine limited edition collab collection, RIZLAINE+

The collaboration includes: a limited-edition flavoured lager, custom retro lighter and Rizla pack, limited-edition skateboard, varsity jacket and t-shirt.
The iconic brand Rizla and pub and pint pioneers Laine, have launched a new partnership, RIZLAINE+ and appointed the creative studio Wonderful Things to concept and create the launch content as well as oversee the amplification for the campaign across social, digital, earned media and the launch event.
The RIZLAINE+ collection includes Rollin’ Pink Grapefruit Lager, which is sold in cans online and on draught in 30+ select pubs in Brighton, London, and Birmingham.
A limited edition items merchandise including a skateboard, retro lighter and rizla pack featuring rolling-inspired illustrations, and an apparel drop of t-shirts and a limited-edition varsity jacket.

To coincide and showcase the collection, Wonderful Things shot the short film, Rollin’ (which shares its name with the beer) that focused on skate communities in front of and behind the camera.
Rollin' was creatively directed by Jamie Mancini and Grace Francis, both founders of Wonderful Things. Shot by Good Brew Inc, the film stars the skate crew Have A Gd Trip, an independent skateboarding community with a mission to encourage people of all abilities and backgrounds to get on a board. The film features a specially composed track by United Freedom Collective.

Jenny King, senior marketing manager at Laine shared; “We love to bring our customers products and experiences that are original, both in the beers we create, and the campaigns that champion them. Wonderful Things have captured everything we think is special about the Rizlaine+ collaboration in this campaign.”
Rollin’ pushes against the stereotypes of skate film gonzo energy in favour of a cinematic shoot style. The film follows the crew as they make their way through Laine’s hometown of Brighton as a community prioritising connection over tricks.
“Rollin’ isn’t about recreating CKY skate film aesthetics from the early noughties,” commented Jamie Mancini, “it’s about showcasing the underlying comradery in the skating scene today. We focus on documenting how Have a Gd Trip come together as a community enjoying moments with RIZLAINE+ including being the first crew to ride on RIZLAINE+ boards.”
The RIZLAINE+ collaboration, Rollin’ film and imagery went live on the 20th March 2025. On the 28th March, Laine and Rizla are working with Lab54 to throw a launch event at Laine pub, The Old Nun’s Head, in South East London.
