Third City launches ‘B Creative’: 100 creative hours for free for B Corp companies

Creative comms agency Third City is offering B Corp companies 100 creative hours – without fee – this B Corp Month (March 2025).
Named ‘B Creative’, the initiative is designed to spread the positive work of B Corp organisations based in the UK and beyond. The creative hours will be used to brainstorm and develop creative concepts according to the briefs and challenges submitted by B Corps, with no restrictions on what these can be.
Assuming most briefs will use around two hours in creative development, Third City is looking to help around 50 B Corp organisations in 2025, of all sizes and structures, and within any sectors.
B Corps are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. Third City became a B Corp in 2022 and was reaccredited in 2024 with a score of 95.2.
To take part, B Corp organisations just need to email bcreative@thirdcity.co.uk with their briefs or challenges, which Third City will then brainstorm and complete a response to, under NDA if required. Requests from B Corps that are UK based and are smaller and/or independent companies will be prioritised, as will those with time-sensitive briefs, however Third City is looking to help organisations of all shapes and sizes.
Third City was named ESG agency of the year in 2023 and has won numerous ESG and purpose-based awards, promoting electric cars (Kia), teen mental health (Bupa), gender inequality in representation with money (Starling Bank), pension inequality (ABI) and tech recirculation (Spring). Third City is the sustainability comms agency for fellow B Corp Nespresso and has worked with various charities including The Donkey Sanctuary and Guide Dogs.
Henry Warrington, partner and creative director at Third City said: “As a B Corp ourselves, we have a role to play in spreading the word about the fantastic, often inspirational work the B Corp community does every year – which is what the B Creative initiative is all about. There are no restrictions on what kind of briefs B Corps can send us – from PR stunts to internal comms, ad creatives to social campaigns, let us know how we can help and we’ll get cracking.”
Susanna Francis, head of sustainability, added: "Strong sustainability comms can turn good intentions into real impact. With B Creative, we’re using our skills to support fellow B Corps in telling powerful stories, shifting perceptions, and driving change. At Third City, we believe comms should serve a greater purpose – this initiative is one way we’re making that happen."
Rosalind Holley, director of communications and marketing at B Lab UK, said: “B Corp Month is a brilliant opportunity to educate customers and clients about what it means to be a B Corp and it’s great to see agencies offering creative time pro-bono to do just that. We love to see B Corps collaborating to grow the movement and look forward to seeing the fruits of this initiative.”
